Well actually… Yes it does. You are HURTING and DISFIGURING your baby for reasons that are aesthetic. Do you not have the ability to teach your son how to wash himself? Is that really so HARD? Because as far as I can see it’s a more than effective method of staving off an infection.

I’ll admit that I don’t know much about female genital health, but isn’t it somewhat akin to saying “let’s chop off her clitoral hood/labia because if she doesn’t go through the simple act of washing her vulva she might (yes MIGHT) get clitoral/labial adhesions or an infection”?

Yeah as soon as we mention anything to do with FGM our opinions change don’t they?
