I just saw your post with the link to the “Tell me About Yourself” post, so I figured I’d tell you a bit about myself. ^.^

1. How did you find me?

Blog jumping! I was just browsing tumblr blogs, and I was like, “Oh! He blogs about circumcision! NEATO!” And then the more I read, the more I fell in love!

2. Where are you from?

East Tennessee, Darlin’! Where our tea is sweet, and our mountains are smokey. ^.^

3. Age?

20, goin’ on 21 in 10 days.

4. How do you identify in terms of sex, gender, orientation, etc? 

I’m cis-female identified, femme pansexual, fae-shapeshifter. (Yep. I identify as non-human. Therian/otherkin, actually. ^.^)

5. What do you do with your life?

6. What are your musical tastes?

Right now? Not a whole lot of anything. Looking for a job, trying to get married, and trying to find a place for my fiance to move out on our own. Wheee!

7. How do you feel about circumcision?

It’s horrific. It makes my skin crawl. It’s just… Not natural. If our bodies were intended to be like that, they would be naturally like that when we’re born. And I will never ever put my future children through unnecessary pain like that.

8. If you have a penis, are you cut, intact, restoring, considering restoring? If you’ve had experiences with a penis, what kind were they with?

I don’t have a penis… But my fiance does! His is cut, it’s a loose circumcision, between a CI3-CI4 on the coverage scale. Not considering restoring, since he’s happy with his peepee and luckily doesn’t have much kertinization(sp?).

And I’ve had experiences with both cut and un-cut. I really don’t have a preference for aesthetics, but it makes me sad that the person I love more than anything went through so much unnecessary pain. D:

9. Had you ever heard of foreskin restoration before finding this blog?

I hadn’t, actually. But, I think it’s really cool. I’ve thought about asking to see your progress photos, but I’m too much of a pansy to be nosey in other people’s private business. >.>

10. Tell me a random thing(s) about yourself.

I LOVE COWS. They’re the best animals in the whole wide world and I want a pet cow one day. I will name her Leila. And she will be precious.

11. Is there any question you’d like to ask? Also, let me know if you’d prefer I not answer this thing publicly.

Why are you so awesome? Also, how do you stay so calm, collected, and decent when faced with people that are willingly mutilating their children’s body parts for ignorant reasons like “His dad’s circumcised, so he will be too” or “I just think it looks better.” Because the only thing I think when I hear things like that is “WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT YOUR CHILD’S DOO-HICKY LOOKS LIKE?!?!?! WEIRDO.”

Haha, I get that question a lot. I guess staying calm and collected is just part of my personality? Plus I’ve found that lashing out at people almost never works, while being calm (though firm and occasionally little snarky) has made at least some people more receptive to what I’m telling them. Believe me, it’s not always easy to hold back, but rage doesn’t get many results.
