Uncutting
Facts about Uncutting!

-When I was a little kid, I had a misconception that the army is made up of old men. I guess it stemmed from the fact that you always hear old guys telling their war stories, and my young mind didn’t put two and two together that they were younger back then.

-I love Monty Python & the Holy Grail, but the ending has always been sort of disappointing to me.

-Lately, I often eat asparagus for breakfast, despite it not really being a “breakfast food.”

-For some reason the word “thrifting” bothers me. Not sure why, I guess I just don’t see why shopping at a thrift store needs to have a separate word from shopping in general?

-I hate when you’re talking to someone on IM and they preface half of their sentences with “umm.” Makes me think I’m either bothering them, or I asked something stupid.

-I’m not a sports fan at all, but if I had to pick one to watch, it would be hockey.

-When I was 12-13, my favorite part of the week was late Friday and Saturday nights. I had reached the age where my parents stopped caring how late I stay up as long as it’s not a school night, so after my mom would head up to bed around 11 or 12, I would hang out by myself in the living room on the computer until 2 or 3 in the morning. For an extremely introverted Internet-loving kid, this was really relaxing, and I would get annoyed if anyone happened to be sleeping downstairs that night and ruined my solitude. This stopped being an issue when I turned 14 and my parents fixed up an old computer and put it in my bedroom, but at the same time it kind of lost its status as my special “me time” considering I could do it every single night from there on.

-I like larger areola on women.

-As a kid, I had a Thomas the Tank Engine video game for SNES, and it had a (low-quality, early-90s digitized) voice announce whatever level you were choosing. It kind of sounds like my dad’s voice, so I thought he somehow recorded his voice and put it in the game for me.

-My favorite TV shows, in no particular order (aside from the first): The Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, Daria, Family Guy, South Park, The Critic, Robot Chicken, Adventure Time, My Name is Earl, Seinfeld, The Wonder Years, Boy Meets World, Wonder Showzen, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Baggage, Crank Yankers, old Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network Stuff.

-Speaking of Nickelodeon, it seems a lot of people my age associate CatDog, The Wild Thornberries, and Rocket Power with the “classic Nicktoon” era, but personally I didn’t like any of those three. For me, The Angry Beavers was the last classic, though I also like Invader Zim and don’t mind SpongeBob.

-As for Cartoon Cartoons, I liked everything up to and including Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Never got into Courage the Cowardly Dog, though maybe I just need to give it a chance.

-I have a weird texture issue with my hair. I hate having wet hair once I step out of the shower, and try to dry it ASAP. I also won’t put any type of product in my hair, it just feels too weird for me.
